How do I register my child for the kids race?

Which event should I sign my child up for?
1/2 KM Kids Race:
- About .5KM long
- Designed for ages 4
- Parents are allowed to run with their children
- Participants are given special finisher medal
- Most of the course will be visible from the Start/Finish area (due to venue limitations some will have more visibility than others)
- Average finish time is 15 to 25 minutes however this will vary depending on the venue/course and the athletes ability
1/2 to 1KM Kids Race:
- About 0.5 to 1KM long
- Designed for ages 5-7
- Parents are allowed to run with their children
- Participants are given special finisher medal
- Most of the course will not be visible from the Start/Finish area (due to venue limitations some will have more visibility than others)
- Average finish time is 20 to 35 minutes however this will vary depending on the venue/course and the athletes ability
1KM Kids Race:
- About 1KM Long
- Designed for ages 8-10
- Parents are not allowed to run with their children
- Participants are given special finisher medal
- Most of the course will not be visible from the Start/Finish area (due to venue limitations, some will have more visibility than others)
- Average finish time is 35-45 minutes however this will vary depending on the venue/course and the athletes ability
2KM Kids Race:
- About 2KM Long
- Designed for ages 11-13
- Parents are not allowed to run with their children
- Participants are given special finisher medal
- Most of the course will not be visible from the Start/Finish area (due to venue limitations, some will have more visibility than others)
- Average finish time is 45-55 minutes however this will vary depending on the venue/course and the athletes ability
- This distance consists of two laps on the 1KM course in addition to an extended course section with more difficult age specific obstacles
What else do we need to know?
- All kids and parents must have a signed waiver to enter the venue.
- We suggest planning to arrive 90 minutes prior to your child's start time.
- No discount codes can be used for a kids race registration unless otherwise specified by a promotion.

Each FAMILY receives 2 free spectator passes when they pick up their kids bib on race day. Spectators must be physically present and turn in a completed waiver to receive their free pass.
- The spectator pass will cover entry into the entire spartan event including the adult race, festival area, and kids race.
- Each registration is valid for 1 race. If your child would like to run a 2nd race, you will need to pay two full registration fees. (Second race includes t-shirt & medal)
- Bibs and start times are not posted online prior to race day for safety reasons.
- Please remember that children under 14 are not to be left alone in the festival area while you are racing or for any reason.
